Jeremiah is CDS’s Director of Communications and is working as a Public Affairs Consultant and Environmental Planner at Hardy Stevenson and Associates, Ltd. in Toronto, ON. He holds a Master’s in Environment and Sustainability and a B.A. in Political Science from Western University — as well a Professional Certificate in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from Stanford University.

Pariag’s multidisciplinary background has enabled him to explore a wide range of career opportunities allowing him to work with: Ontario Power Generation, The Nuclear Water Management Organization, Microsoft, The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, Hydro One, Toronto Hydro, KMW Energy, Peel Region, York Region, Metrolinx, Enbridge, and several others.



Carly Nicholson is a scientist, environmental advocate, and brand guru from Indiana, USA. Carly holds a B.S. in Earth-Space Science from the University of Indianapolis, and Masters in both Public Affairs and Environmental Science from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. Carly has experience at the municipal, state, federal, and nonprofit level in environmental policy, digital communications, and strategic planning. Notably, she served as a Science Communications Fellow with the National Science Foundation – Geoscience Directorate. Carly is a freelance Personal Brand Consultant, Public Sector Advisory Consultant at Grant Thornton LLC, and Branding Specialist for the Center for Development and Strategy 501(c)(3). Her goal is to relay technical environmental and geoscience innovations to policy makers to foster thoughtful decision making.
