Graduate students at the University of Toronto have partnered with the Center for Development and Strategy (CDS) to launch the Journal of Sustainable Innovation (JSI), a student-run journal publishing innovative and critical research for current topics in sustainability, with a focus on innovation, management, policy, business and partnerships in solving sustainability issues.
JSI will be an internationally distributed publication showcasing high-quality papers selected through a blind peer review process. Accepted papers will originate from a diverse scope of faculties and departments globally. As CDS has a partnership with JournalQuest, papers will be dual-published and searchable on Google Scholar. For the inaugural publication of JSI, all subtopics within the field of sustainability are welcomed for submission. Examples of topics include, but are not limited to: energy solutions, water scarcity, waste management, agriculture, food security, transportation innovation, urban development, community sustainability, policy implementation, corporate sustainability, and sustainability management.
JSI submissions will be accepted in three rounds – the deadlines for each being: November 31st, January 10th, and February 15th 2018. Submissions made by the first deadline will be reviewed in early December and authors will be contacted if their submission is approved by reviewers for the editing stage. Submissions made by the second deadline will be reviewed in January and submissions for the final deadline will be reviewed in February.
We encourage submissions to be made as early as possible since papers will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis for limited number of publication spots.
To submit your paper, visit this link and enter “JSI Submission” before your title.
